His life is measured by his adventures and the smiles he leaves on our hearts

Willcares Taylor Made
Taylor was bred by my friend Sue Willumsen at Willcare. She came to live with me at 5 years old, she loved everyone and everything. She was determined to hike her own trails no matter where I wanted to go, but she always did it with a smile. The park rangers always brought her back to the campground, she would be tired but satisfied. Taylor was everything a great Labrador should be, happy, loveable, hardy and full of fun to the very last.
She chose not to do obedience or hunting but was nonetheless a great friend.

Maggie on the left
My first girl an import who came to me at 8 weeks old - too cute for words
at 8 months old hip x-ray showed severe dysplasia - I spayed her and then at 24 months she started having seizures - we medicated her and she was happy
She was, in spite of the dysplasia my most athletic dog, she hiked a thousand miles with me all over Acadia National Park, she was the only dog who could just spring herself into the back of the 3/4 ton pickup, everyone else wanted a lift. As she got older she developed cataracts but she never knew she was flawed, she was a wiggle worm party girl for 14 great years.
CH Paddingtons Hidden Gold "Folly" on the right
Bred By Ann Lofgren at Paddington Labradors Folly was my first Paddington girl, surely not my last.
She loved to show and had quite the winning record, when Folly entered the ring she made sure you did not look at any other dog, she is behind most of my current girls and her great grand-daughter is just like her. In spite of being a very active girl, she learned to sit quietly in the kayak and we had many happy hours just paddling around.
Folly and Maggie were the ultimate hiking dogs and are shown here in Acadia National Park

Lance
Lance was my first Labrador, not a show dog but without a doubt Lance holds the record for having the greatest sense of fun for dog or human. A dedicated escape artist he took such joy in making an escape from the yard and then freeing his buddies and off they went. I ran them down more than once, but I was much younger then. The other dogs would see me coming and make tracks back to the yard, but not Lance he would turn around and grin at me and pick up speed.
He loved best our Dobe Mad Max and my son Darren. When Max left to cross the rainbow bridge Lance never ran again, he went to live rather quietly with Darren
We will always miss Lance and no one will ever take his place

Everything I own today goes back to this wonderful dog who was the most gentle spirit and friend for 13-1/2 years Domino was the sweetest boy ever and he will always be my benchmark for that wonderful Labrador temperament,
